Handheld F.C.C. licensed radio communications system for safe & efficient group management

Multi-channel professional radios provide means for continual communication between Drivers, Tour Director, Group Leader, Bus Leaders and other supervising adults / chaperones. Radios are used for communication en route between motorcoaches as well as on-site at destination attractions and even inside hotels on multi-day trips. Information given by the Tour Director is immediately available to all supervising adults & Drivers eliminating confusion and errors.

Digital cell phone network with toll free "800" numbers for emergency contact/communications

Phones provided for Group Leader, Bus Leaders, Administrators, Drivers & Tour Director. All participants are provided with Emergency Phone Contact information cards to carry throughout trip. In the event participants become separated from group, or in any other emergency / urgent situation, contact may be made with the Group Leader, Bus Leader, Administrator, Tour Director and/or Drivers immediately from the nearest telephone toll free---no coins, phone card or credit card needed! Phones provide means of communication between motorcoaches if too far separated for radio contact and also between the School and trip participants at any time. Phones work to prevent needless worry in numerous situations.

Great Adventures Tour Director accompanies trip, departure to return, handling all details

Our Tour Directors are experienced, have college degrees and special tour management training. Some speak multiple languages, have teaching backgrounds and/or professional DC Tour Guide licenses. All have the talent, flexibility, insight and patience to work well with student groups.

Latest safety features, less than five (5) years old, satisfactory safety inspection rating plus video monitors throughout passenger cabins for en route tape viewing.

Great Adventures selects full service hotels with interior hallways, electronic key cards for guest rooms, on-site motorcoach parking, smoke detectors, sprinkler systems and full time / 24 hour security personnel.

Private duty security officers dedicated to group corridors each night from 10:30 P.M. - 7:00 A.M.

One officer assigned to each corridor occupied by your group allowing all supervising adults an opportunity for uninterrupted sleep unless summoned by officers due to an emergency and / or urgent situation. Officers meet with Administrator and/or Group Leader and Tour Director prior to going on duty at 10:30 P.M. and again prior to going off duty at 7:00 A.M.
